Meet the Staff

Pastor Susan Candea

Pastor Susan Candea was born in Nebraska but grew up primarily in Colorado. She graduated California Lutheran University and then Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa with a Masters of Divinity. In April of 2006, she accepted the call to King of Glory. Her passions are preaching and leading worship, teaching, both adults and children, and caring for individuals and justice issues. She is the mother of three grown sons and enjoys staying physically active, reading, and spending time with family and friends. You can contact Pastor Susan at pastor@aplace2grow.org.

Pastoral Intern - Andy Boesenecker

Born and raised in Holland, Michigan, Andy lived throughout the South after completing a music degree (Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance) from Western Michigan University in 2001. In addition to working as an elementary music teacher and freelance musician, Andy also spent a few years serving as a music director for a Lutheran church in Fleming Island, FL. Married to Stacey in 2006, Andy is the proud father of two boys (Liam and Jude). Having moved to Fort Collins, CO in 2009, Andy is a candidate for ordained ministry in the ELCA and is a student at Iliff School of Theology and Luther Seminary. Administrative Assistant - Kathy Gustad

Kathy was born in Alabama, but grew up in various places, living in Germany, California, Nebraska, and Colorado, where her dad ultimately retired from the Air Force. After graduating from high school in Colorado Springs, she continued her education with a BA in History from Colorado State University. Kathy moved back to Colorado, to Loveland, in 2005, after living out of state for 24 years. She is married to Kirk and has two awesome sons. You can contact Kathy at office@aplace2grow.org.

Lay Ministry Coordinator - Karyn Eddins

Karyn has been a member of King of Glory since 2000 and has been involved in a variety of ways including administrative council, a call committee, Sunday School and various fellowship activities. Karyn has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from CSU, as well as, years of experience in volunteer management. She believes volunteering is vital to the congregation and the volunteers and encourages each volunteer to find their best match of time, skills and interests whenever possible.
