Children, Youth and Family Ministries

At King of Glory, the children and youth are not just our future, they are also our present. Children are welcome in all aspects of church life from worship to service to fellowship. We believe it is the job of the church to equip parents with the skills and tools necessary to raise Christian children. We have many ministries designed to support and educate parents, youth and children and promote cross-generational interaction.

Sunday School is held on Sunday mornings and is our main educational focus for children from preschool to high school. Confirmation for middle school aged youth to receive a more in-depth education in our beliefs as Christians and in the history and doctrines of the Lutheran Church. We have a Youth Group for middle and high school youth, giving them an opportunity to build lasting friendships with within King of Glory and the larger Lutheran community and to encourage faith growth and maturity. We hold workshops, Bible Studies, service projects and fellowship events every month for parents, children, youth and the larger congregation. For details of any of these family ministries, please explore the different options under the children and youth tab at the left of this page.

When your child participates in any activity sponsored by King of Glory, you can be assured that every effort is made to ensure their safety. Background checks are required of anyone who works with our youth, and parents are always welcome to come and participate with their children.
